Description:

Called a saprophyte in my plant book. It is a myco-heterotroph. It parasites fungi that are in mycorrhizal relationships with vascular plants.

Habitat:

Pacific temperate rain forest on the south side of McKee Peak which is part of the Sumas Mtn massif.
