Lesser Wanderers

Danaus petilia

These butterflies were having a fine old time feeding on a patch of red-head cotton bush (Asclepias curassavica) in Nuga Nuga National Park. I was very taken with the flowers until I got home and found out that they are a widespread weed introduced from the Americas.
