Description:

This is another miniature orchid species I discovered near from Purisil, Orosi, Cartago, at 1300 meters high. The flower size is 14mm, what means it is 3x bigger than average flower size of this genus.

Habitat:

Low land premontane forest

Notes:

The name is after ´leporids´, fantastic beings half rabbit and half human, who has long vertical ears which ressemble the redish petals of this flower
