Coprinellus micaceus
white stem, cap light brown with white specks. this looks kind of like Coprinus saccharinus but I'm not sure. I see images online of Coprinus with the cap curled upwards like in photos 4 and 5
old canal, railway tunnel
I spotted this inside the Blue Ghost tunnel, an old abandoned railway tunnel under the old canal. This was growing right along side the wall in near darkness. There were many, though most seemed past their prime.

coprinus -> corpinellus or coprinopsis ( new taxa) are divides in autodigestion of the gills/spores. all coprinus are ink-mushrooms ---> the spores liquefy and come out similair as ink. The most of the genus coprinus are curling upwards. i identify this one mostly from it stem. there are 2 species which look very similair. --> coprinellus micaceus and truncorum. the cap is almost identic but the stem of the truncorum is smoother and whiter. (normal mica ink fungus / smooth-stalked mica ink fungus ) {ruffly translated from dutch} the coprinellus truncorum has the smooth/ white stem. but those 2 species here in dutch,maybe you will find here ( http://eol.org/pages/16701/overview ) a similair species from your area.
