Description:

This is a venomous pitviper species found in the high mountains of Costa Rica (Talamanca) and western Panama, where it habits from 2000 to 3000 meters high. We manipulated the viper and it showed quite docile.

Habitat:

Montane and Premontane forest, Durika Biological Reserve, next to La Amistad International Park
