Some type similar to the armored ground crickets known to be native in S. Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Namibia.
Almost looks like our Wheel Bugs here in the USA.

That is one big Orthoptera insect.

These are pretty big too. At least 3 or 4 inches long.

this is a really cool spotting!!! Looks like something related to grasshoppers or locust. However I am unable to find anything close.
