Glad you said to be careful. I would not eat a fungi without knowing for sure, too risky. Just took the picture cause it seemed interesting and thought it was nice to share here.

Could be a juvenile member of the Amanita genus due to those warts and what appears to be a kind of volva (cup-like structure on the base of the stem) or a swollen base; out of the many species that belong to this genus, quite a few are known to be deadly, and another good chunk poisonous. Maybe you should let them mature, where identification can become easier, and show us what it looks like then? :)
