Leaf-Footed Bug

Leptoglossus Phyllopus (Linnaeus)

Description:

This guy was HUGE, bright green, long legs/antennae, and similar to an oversized stinkbug! I would've gone outside to snap a better picture, but I'm fairly terrified of large insects.

Habitat:

I found it hanging out on the deck in my backyard around Kennesaw, Georgia. The suburban area is slightly wooded.

Notes:

This guy was finally identified by Goody!

I've seen these quite a bit as well and haven't been able to ID them. I think they are in the stink bug family.
