Description:

This is a flowering plant from one of my front yard planters. It is has such an unusual shape. "This flower thrives in much of central United States, all the way from northern Mexico to southern Canada. It is the state wildflower of Oklahoma (Wikipedia)." It is native to the central United States.

Habitat:

Urban flower garden.
