Tan and brown leaf like insect. No apparent antenna so I suspect it's a type of fly.

Habitat:

Woodsy neighborhood near a pond.

Moths often seem to tuck their antenna along their bodies and under their wings, so they're not always that visible. (For an example of a 'typical antenna position' see spotting: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/742...)
