Nice pics! The rufous-sided towhee was actually split recently into the Eastern and spotted towhees. With its location and extensive spotting on the front of its wings, this bird is actually a spotted towhee (Pipilo maculatus)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spotted_tow...
