Legume family. Linear leaves with short, hairy leaflets. Entire plant covered with downy hair. Purple pea-flowers.

Habitat:

Gravelly/sandy soil above a dry river bed, in a narrow rocky canyon.

Notes:

Grand Wash. Southern part of Capital Reef National Park, Utah.
