Weird-looking, but awesomely moth that landed on my desk few minutes ago. It was raining. It's about 4cm.

Cossidae, Hypoptinae. Obviously "nobody" dares to ID this group. There are different species of only a few genus. Some are: Langsdorfi, Givira (most species and also found in US), Inguromorpha, Hypopta (which it is definitely not and the larva of Hypopta agavis, guess what?? is found in the famous Mexican Mezcal...) and Philodoron. Sorry, I can't help you more than that, at least familiy and subfamily.
