ok,sorry i already thought you would do that deliberately, but when you dont know much about it, it's an other thing. Had you seen the mushrooms in the links. they are somewhat different, and i agree there are many which look alike. but when you look further and get busy with mushrooms, you will see, some are to identify or at least to narrow in at the genas (maybe the species) but to be really sure, you will have to get a sporeprint and an analysis from the spores, otherwise you can only guess and hope it is the right one.But here at pn with only a visual referenz and somewhat info from the discription it is mostly as lottery. (i'm not a prof. but a fanatic amateur) and i make enough mistakes but i try my best. when you have an unidentified species, let me know. when you see the next mushroom here, make some (just some- goggle image and enter the name of your suggestion and compare) research. the coprinus to suggest at a mycena, should be the same for you as would i suggest for your shih tzu ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shih_Tzu ) -- common name: little dog - pitt bull.

sorry, when i'm now so direct, but when you know only 1 mushroom (ink cap -coprinus comatus ( http://www.google.com/search?pq=google&a... ). then you should not suggest it at every mushroom you see. sorry.
