Green Frog

Lithobates clamitans

Description:

Looks similar to the bullfrog but is smaller and has a ridge of skin along the sides of the back that is not found on bullfrogs. Green Frogs will grow 2 ¼ to 3 ½ inches in head-body length.

Habitat:

Green frogs live along rocky creeks and in sloughs and woodland ponds.

Notes:

After a year of living in and around the pond, I have found that these are indeed Green Frogs and not Bullfrogs, as first noted.
