Glistening Inky Cap

Description:

Brown mushroom with white gills and stalk. As they age, they darken and the cones open up. The ends start curling upward exposing the gills as seen in the last two images taken three days later.

Habitat:

Dirt in full shade under unknown tree.

Notes:

These showed up a week after our first rain in months. Aka mica cap, shiny cap, and glistening inky cap
