Netting was used to assess the current status of wildlife in the area. It was part of the study on Arakan, were aside from mammals, we also study on plants, herpetofauna, aves, and the mammals. It was actually a reserve forest area if I not mistaken not a cave.
Thanks for joining the Cave Biota mission, Greenphoenix!
Why was there netting? Was it part of a bat study? How deep in-cave were the nets set?
Please consider joining the Cave Biota of the Philippines mission, http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/9049... and adding this spotting to the mission.
who says bat's were not Good Mothers?
