Bubo virginianus
These are large, thick-bodied owls with two prominent feathered tufts on the head. The wings are broad and rounded. Great Horned Owls are mottled gray-brown, with reddish brown faces and a neat white patch on the throat.
Found in a open area with trees around & a creek near by as well.

Jemma I'm bad with trees :( but I can go get a pic of just the tree tomorrow and add it on here so you can see :)
Is this an eucalyptus tree?
How does it look in person?

I love owls. Very elusive though. What time of the day was it?
