Description:

In Costa Rica it can be found in south pacific region as in atlantic region as well. It is an inhabitant of the rainforests of the lowlands. Fully terrestrial habits, foraging on the forest floor actively in search of invertebrates. It is abundant throughout its distribution. It may also be found on roads and highways, raising body temperature on exposure to sunlight. Due to its medium size can take a few minutes without re-heating, which allows you to enter without lighting dark areas or direct sunlight into the forest to forage.

Habitat:

From (S) Mexico to Colombia; Rainforest.
