Description:

The Great Argus is an amazing gamebird found in the tropical forests of South East Asia. Its loud call can be heard at great distance echoing through the forests. Its tail is composed of the longest feather in the bird world, this is truly a magnificent bird. This is a wild male bird photographed in Taman Negara National Park in Malaysia at its display site and the 3rd picture shows the bird throwing its head back and calling.
