Tayassu pecari
Spoted at Curitiba's zoo
Queixadas are gregarious animals, forming herds with up to 300 individuals. They are very aggressive, even a Jaguar avoids atacking frontaly a band of queixadas. When I was taking this pic, mamma queixada thought I was too close to the wire fence, and made a full charge on the fence. Really scary!

According to Wikipedia, White-lipped Peccary are a lot more agressive then collared peccarys. I once knew a girl who was atacked by one. She had a huge scar in her leg!
They look a lot like javelinas, or collared peccary, which lived around our house in Arizona (USA). They were fun to watch and the babies were really cute, but they could be very aggressive.
