Eastern Coral Snake

Micrurus fulvius

Description:

Red, yellow, and black banded snake. 24" slender and shiny. Venomous!!Red and yellow rings touch. Not to be confused with the milk snake or the scarlet king snake.

Habitat:

Woods near lakes, streams and wood piles

Notes:

Red on yellow kill a fellow. Red on black friend of jack. Note: only works in north America

That's great...I had some friends in the Tampa area that had many Coral Snakes on their property. I thought that was pretty unusual.
