Hi Melanie, welcome to Project Noah! In North America, the kind of crow you get is called the American crow, and its scientific name is Corvus brachyrhynchos. I will suggest the ID for you and include a link to a page you can find more info! It would be great if you could update your spotting with at least the scientific name :) Looking forward to more of your local wildlife spottings!
