Uroplatus fimbriatus
large nocturnal gecko, up to 33cm (1.1'), rests during the day against a tree with its head down
rainforests on the east coast
I spotted this leaf-tailed gecko on the island of Nosy Mangabe. My guide was excellent at spotting chameleons day and night. I couldn't believe how skilled he was sometimes.

Thanks Christy. @Victoria, well done! They are truly hard to spot during the day.
Very cool!! Great shot!
is there supposed to be leaf-tailed gecko in that 2nd picture? if there is, it's like 'find the cat' viral pictures in FB all over again
great photo, they are amazing never thought I'd see one in the wild but managed to spot one myself that my guide missed!
Thanks everyone. @asergio, the credit must go to my guide for spotting this one. If you think this is great camo, you must check out this spotting.
