Description:

Small, bright red flowers measuring about 5 mm hanging from a stem of about 25 cm in length that is rising from a plant surrounded by roundish clover-like leaves.

Habitat:

Found on the Old Baldy Trail, which begins in Madera Canyon and eventually leads up to the highest point, Mt. Wrightson, at about 10,000 feet of elevation. They grow in abundance on this trail.
