Chelonia mydas
Large sea turtle of the family Cheloniidae. Possesses a dorsoventrally flattened body covered by a large, teardrop-shaped carapace and a pair of large, paddle-like flippers. C. mydas is listed as endangered by the IUCN and CITES and is protected from exploitation in most countries. It is illegal to collect, harm or kill them. In addition, many countries have laws and ordinances to protect nesting areas. However, turtles are still in danger because of several human practices.

The colours came out incredible though, my underwater camera is really hit or miss, so i was lucky with this one!
The Photo was taken while diving from a liveaboard within the Wakatobi marine national park in Indonesia, of the coast of South East Sulawesi, cant quite remember the exact dive site, think it was Table city, a site dominated by large table corals!
Great photo and turtle. I don't recognize where the photo was taken. I love the photo. Congrats!
I like that it looks like the turtle is sitting on the corals :) Super pic, can't believe you saw so many turtles this summer!
