I spotted this lil monster on the boardwalk @ Venice beach after digging for sharks teeth. I thought it was a wolf spider (very similar).

They are similar but Running Crab Spiders are much smaller than this. This is a Giant Crab Spider, a Huntsman. Beautiful find!

It is catagorized correctly... & they appear very similar. Pardon my mistake.
