8 inches or so across, red to brown to purple concentric area on this shelflike fungus. Shiny varnished look.
At the base of a large cherry blossom variety. All around the base. Tree is in a sidewalk box with flowers.
Last year there was one, now there are at least 5 growing on this tree.
