Description:

Identified by heavy brown streaks (converging in central breast spot) over grayish ground color in this Pacific Northwest variation. Lincoln's Sparrow is crisper, and Swamp Sparrow (rare on Pacific Coast) is much grayer overall with bright rufous wings.
