I found this one near a stream in the woods. I kept it for about a month, fed it well (goldfish) then let it go back where I spotted it.

Hi Jamie, we really would not recommend taking any snake from the wild & keeping it in captivity even for a short period of time. In fact in many states it is illegal to do so.
Please can you crop the photos in this series so that the focus is on the snake as we request that humans do not feature in spottings as far as possible. Once you have done this you might like to add this & your other wild snake spottings to the new Snakes of the United State mission http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/1202...
