Description:

Pan-tropical shrub native to native to southern India, Sri Lanka, Indomalaya and western Pacific islands. Used as ornamentation and hedges. As its name implies, it comes in a wide variety of forms.

Habitat:

Planted as an ornamental in a semi-urban yard & garden.

Notes:

Two varieties shown demonstrating that the name of the plant is no misnomer! The foreground variety has a uniquely attractive curl to its leaves.
