Thanks bayucca. I only commented with my suggestion because I agree with you, they are tricky to ID. I've looked at the butterflies of the Andes and the Amazon so many times on learnaboutbutterflies.com, that I recognize butterflies from Noah that are on the site, even ones I haven't seen in person!

Sorry, Dan, I didn't even realize that you had already have suggested Hermadora. Detritivora and Calephelis are amongst the most tricky ones to ID, specially Calephelis is a nightmare genus... Congrats for the genus!

I was close with my suggestion, at least got the genus right, making you proud bayucca! I'm limited though, to what Adrian Hoskins has spotted, as I find his site the easiest to use while searching for ID's.

Riodinidae, Detritivora sp. and most probably Detritivora barnesi, Cloaked Scintillant or Barnes' Metalmark.
