Alice, I took the common name verbatim from the Kaufman field guide to insects of North America. The wiki definition - Locusts are the swarming phase of short-horned grasshoppers of the family Acrididae. I am happy to change to another common name but just wanted to point out that the original name is correct.

A Locust is different from a grasshopper in the States. You need Grasshopper in the title. Thank You
