Wondering if this snail is native to HI or is it a snail invader?
No, it's up to rangers only - which I am no longer.
Phew. :) btw - Do you know, can administrators of this site edit our spottings? Or, is it left up to the original spotter to edit the spotting when an ID has been made?
It's okay, Makita. For me at least.
I am aware that snails are molluscs .. just as are octopus and slugs. It seems this post is already in the "other" category so I am not sure why you point that out. I realize, too, that the photo is very blurry. I apologize for it is the best I had available. I posted it in hopes someone might know.
Snails are molluscs - we put it into the category "other".Please keep it in mind for further snail-spottings.Aside from the wrong category placement, this picture is very blurry - we kindly ask you to replace it with a one of better quality in order to find th ecorrect ID.Thank you for understanding.
