Black Swallowtail Butterfly

Papilio polyxenes

Description:

Asymmetrical swallowtail butterfly (left side) due to (probably) being burned in one of the hot coal grills outside. The butterfly could no longer flap its wing on that side, so I'm pretty sure it fell off the table onto the ground.
