Ashish and Karen, thanks for your help. I think Colias crocea is more common in Andalucia.

Ashish, you can see a hint of orange on the upper wing which is absent in the pale clouded yellow, which is why I am certain this is Colias crocea!

Solves the mystery of my butterfly. I thought it was a sulfur. It was still flying around after a huge snowstorm. They are beautiful!
