Honey Bee

Apis mellifera

Description:

Yellow bee with light yellow fuzzy thorax. It doesn't have the traditional black stripes, instead they're white. The eyes are dark brown and wings are light brown.

Habitat:

Gazania flower in backyard

Notes:

I've never seen a yellow and white bee before. They always have black somewhere.

Turns out it's a very light colored or bleached Honey Bee!

I think so too! I was too slow to get pics of it more exposed to help ID it but thought these were cute.
