Beach Wolf Spider

Arctosa littoralis

Description:

A large spider (3/4 in body length) seen near a sea wall at the beach. I think it is some sort of wolf spider or huntsman.... My guess is Olios fasciculatus.

Thank you Cindybinghamkeiser and LadyArachnophile! Sorry, I didn't realize this was still "needs ID". Absolutely correct ID. And I love that species name, littoralis, it's beautiful!

My guess is Arctosa littoralis. I'm not as familiar with wolf spiders but it seems quite similar and are in your general area.

It looks like a wolf spider. I thought maybe a type of ghost spider. I looked it up and GHOST SPIDER is a type of putter for golfers too. LOL (P.S. I had an assassin (wheel) bug crawling all over my bare shoulder, upper leg and lower leg as I was trying to get it off me this summer. WHEW!
