Along with the Gallium Sphinx Moth, this was a new visitor to my garden this summer. In 16 years I've never seen this butterfly before, and this was the only one spotted.

I saw him all the way across the yard, what a big, beautiful butterfly! Hard to photograph though, never still for a minute :)

ive only seen the giant once too when i was younger..they seem to be lone wanderers
