Description:

Another spotting from the annual meadow cut on the Woodland mound at Kew. These newts were doing very well indeed. We found a nice group of them in a rotting tree stump. Rotting tree=very good habitat for loads of organisms. Unfortunately, you can't always work and take pictures, so this lil' fella's all I got.

Maybe, but it's still surprisingly warm round these parts for the time of year.....
The days are drawing in fast though.
