Thank you. I kept on clicking until the spider and bee were fighting, grabbed a reed and the little web the bee was caught on released and it flew away. NEW PHOTOS!

The bee is a bumble bee, probably Bombus impatiens.

Poor bee! Wonderful series!
I spotted a similar contest between a praying mantis & a bee - on that occasion the bee won the day!
