Pycnonotus barbatus
Reeds by Sabie River at Skukuza at dawn.
When I first saw these they had red faces, throats and tails due to the dawn sun and the fact that I was looking into the sun. I spent quite a while on the earlier photographs, studying the books and googling, trying to ID them and gave up eventually, then started going through the rest of the photos and suddenly realised what they were!
