Red-Tailed Squirrel

Sciurus granatensis

Description:

Ethics aside, this was a lovely moment. The girl had found the squrrel a couple of days before, apparently orphaned, so she brought it into the office below the reserve. Didn't seem at all nervous so we took a few snaps

Habitat:

Central and South American Forests. Large arboreal.

SantaLuciaReserve, I am sorry, these photos were fine, but PN focuses on the animals and plants, and not on humans. Please, we would like to see other photos of this squirrel alone, if possible. Thank you.
