Spotting

Description:

Crispy black segment with white caulk-like substance at one end. Total length is approx 1" or diameter of a quarter. Perhaps an insect / lizard scat????

Habitat:

Found a row of 20 or so, mostly in a straight line from dryer vent along lip of backdoor step

I think these are too large to be insect poop. I do agree this is scat of some kind. Not sure what kind at this time.
