Yellow Collared Scape Moth

Description:

The day moth is about 1 1/2 inches long and these frequented the meadow often. This one was the most beautiful of them all and quite large compared to the others (including the mating ones I posted earlier this week)

Nice photo Carol, great color on this guy. The Yellow Collard Scapes I've seen around here have always been yellow.
