Orange mushrooms

Description:

One of many species I came across during my hikes in the Missouri Ozarks during a rainy fall. On this day, I saw many species of fungus. These were one of the most vibrant. I wish I had a scale reference, but I remember them being rather small.

Habitat:

Deciduous forest, southern Missouri Ozarks
