Description:

Relatively small lizard, roughly 15 cm long including tail; colored as shown.

Habitat:

Climbing in understory vegetation along trail from parking lot to visitor center at Estero Llano Grande State Park. Overall habitat is mesquite forest with shallow ponds and associated riparian grasses and vegetation.

Notes:

This is not a native species to the U.S.
