In Afghanistan we call this bird Chamchuq. They are living everywhere like cities, villages and on the wild. people love this bird and on winter when they face difficulties to find food people feed them.

Your Latin name finds a trogon on Wikipedia. The bird in this picture looks a lot like a Tree Sparrows (Passer montanus).
