Radiation

Lantana camara

Description:

A green, leafy bush that grew as tall as my waist in places but mainly stayed to the ground. The flowers were mostly arranged as seen in the pictures, but sometimes I saw a reverse with red in the center, and once or twice a random mix of red and yellow.

Habitat:

The cold, foggy top of Volcan Mombacho in the tropical region of Nicaragua. This plant was not growing in the tree-covered area, but was more out on the open clearings just beyond, where the wind and fog hit even more.
