Description:

Hardy caterpillar has been seen almost everyday on the same small aster flowers since Nov. 4, 2011. Very active as seen in the photos. Approx. 2 inches completely stretched out.. Very rare yellow. (Goldenrod Hooded Owlet Moth caterpillar)

Habitat:

Meadow in the Poconos

I love this caterpillar. I can't find another yellow asteroid anywhere thru internet searches. It was still there today in all the rain. Likes to pose for the camera. A real show off. HA!
